Our territory is our
starting point.
The Lagoa Vânia Community Development Council (CODECOL) is a nonprofit community organization rooted in the rural communities of Miravânia, in northern Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Led by young people, it brings together traditional knowledge, environmental care and residents’ participation. Through community assemblies and local partnerships, residents help set priorities and develop solutions.
